Recycling
We believe in disposing of products in an environmentally responsible way. As such, we have developed recycling programs and special procedures to ensure their safe and environmentally friendly disposal. At Totem, recycling is important and we’re doing something about it. You can do your part too by participating in the following recycling programs.

Bring us your unused paint and we'll ensure it's disposed of properly.
Bring your paint products to the Paint Sales Counter the next time you visit Totem.
Return your used CFL bulbs to your nearest Totem store where they will be collected for safe recovery. 100% of the bulbs are recycled, right down to the mercury they contain, nothing goes to waste.

Exchange-A-Blade Recycle Depots are available in all Totem store locations. All the material that is collected is scrapped and recycled into usable steel products.

As part of the Exchange-A-Blade Recycling Program, each Totem store location is accepting alkaline, nickel-cadmium and lithium-ion batteries for recycling purposes.

Each Totem location is equipped with a Recycling Center to aid you in the cleansing of your vehicles.
The recycler allows for garbage, refundable deposit items and mixed recycling such as newspaper, white paper and the 1-7 labeled recyclable plastics.
Our Recycling Centers are a Recycled Recycler™ product made by Clean River™ Recycling Solutions. Clean River™ states each Recycled Recycler™ contains 98% post consumer recycled content. |
