Dana - HR Advisor
At the beginning of 2005, I was a Travel Counselor for a small local company and had recently decided to leave the field. I found myself searching the classifieds for new opportunities and decided to attend a Totem hiring fair thinking I’d take the position as a transition job; until I found something better or figured out what I wanted to do.
I started out as a Cashier, shortly advancing to a Head Cashier when the position became available. My management team was always willing to give me opportunities to expand my knowledge and challenge my skills.
I soon was promoted to Paint Sales, Office Manager, Store Administrator, and am now in my current role as Totem’s HR Advisor at the Support Centre in the People and Culture department. After 6 years with Totem, I now work in a career that I love with some of my closest friends.
